mixi's eigozuke

It's not my first time trying this but I can not believe that I was only able to answer 5 questions of mixi's eigozuke.
My excuse is that I couldn't read the correct kanji xb
but I really don't care as long as I am able to understand the meaning.
the second time i was able to score 10more than my first score but it's frustrating that I can't go higher...urg...

third time... yay up to 65!! :D
i messed up on punctually xb which means 時間制限
well one of my friends got over 90 right so i really need to beat his score lol
and wow probably this log is actually one of my shortest one...

Japanese/Enligsh translating and dictionary sites

I know that we went over this site, space alc about thousand times
but like Dr.Kaya I strongly recommend this site.
Other than studying vocab, English phrases, etc...
I think this site is one of the best Japanese English dictionary site that is actually accurate!
I was very impressed when it had the translation for 「お茶をたてる」＝preparing tea...well if you think about it, it is...but I had no idea so what I am trying to say here is, this site have a good translation of "polite" Japanese.

Other than space alc I use to use excite translating site, it's not perfect but still its good :)

Restaurants

Did you know that Restaurants in the U.S. you are able bring back food you weren't able to finish??
Well you can, so you don't have to worry about not being able to finish your food because it's too much.
Other than that the difference of Japanese and American restaurants are, most times the waiters introduce them selves before serving you. When paying you tip them by how well they served you. And the tip goes to your salary so it's actually a really good deal :)
But unlike restaurants in Japan I think it's a good way to learn about service, since you get to talk more to the costumers and actually interact with them, also it's a good way to learn more about society.
Plus if you think the waiter/waitress is cute, you get to know their name with out reading their name tag so thats a plus lololol

In Japan we have the gals gal-o, otaku, goths, etc..
In the U.S. it's called differently so I'm going to list some of them today.

Preps-what you describe as the gals and stuff. Usually too perfects guys who acts like an ass hole goes in this category.

Nerds-Otakus lol/you don't really have to explain anything but they know a bit about Japanese culture and they are usually smart so if you don't know something they can teach ya stuff even though they act wierd sometimes lololol

Emo-Some what like goths but only darker

Goths-Just like dark clothes and dark stuff only their personalities can be really friendly

Gangsters-not really gangsters just act that way, basically the Japanese furyou

Asians/Hispanic and black-not because they are the same race and stuff, they all hang around in one spot and stick togeher like glue...

Jocks-typical guy who's doing sports usually football or basketball

Loner-the one who hangs around all by them self.

Well I think that pretty much explains some characteristics. And some of the teachers can act as above and some could be gay if they are in the art department Xb

how to make a bibliography on word

Today in class we went over word and excel. Other than the stuff we were taught over class, did you know that you’re able to easily make a bibliography/参考文献over word?
Well it’s really easy and the teachers do accept it so let me show you some easy sites that shows you how.

Last week we viewed youtube "educationally" so I decided to pick out some choices
that could be a bit helpful to be both educated and entertained ;)
And just a note I was gonna post this last week but I kinda ran out of time
and completely forgot about this so I'm posting this today.

Anyway... like dr. kaya said last week, you can watch tons of videos like...
Obama's speech, how to do's in english, animes that has subtitles and so on...

But a lot of anime videos on youtube get deleted for illegal copyright...

pbs kids

Today I will be showing about PBS kids!
And just a note I thought I posted this post last week but it wasn't and half of the stuff that I wrote about was deleted so I am going to explain again...ORZ
Any way... pbs kids is from the site "pbs", which Dr.Kaya showed us in class.
It's a site mainly for kids but I think its another fun way to learn enlgish :D
The main cartoons shown on pbs are Barney, Sesame Street, Arthur...and they were being shown since I was little.
Even though this site is aimed for kids, I think it is a great way to learn english for people who just started to learn :D
Sesame Street is a show for children from 3-5, its like the NHK show "Eigo de asobo".
Charcters like Elmo, Big bird, Cookie Monsters gives out tons of examples of words that is used with the letter and it changes every week!
PBS kids shows a movie of Sesame Street for free and has many educational games.
But the games are mostly aimed for 3-6year olds so I kind of reccomend the games for people who are patient ^^;
