Did you know that Restaurants in the U.S. you are able bring back food you weren't able to finish??
Well you can, so you don't have to worry about not being able to finish your food because it's too much.
Other than that the difference of Japanese and American restaurants are, most times the waiters introduce them selves before serving you. When paying you tip them by how well they served you. And the tip goes to your salary so it's actually a really good deal :)
But unlike restaurants in Japan I think it's a good way to learn about service, since you get to talk more to the costumers and actually interact with them, also it's a good way to learn more about society.
Plus if you think the waiter/waitress is cute, you get to know their name with out reading their name tag so thats a plus lololol
