It's been almost a week since Christmas ended and today is new years eve but did you know that there are other holidays other than Christmas that are celebrated through out the world?
For example if you are Jewish instead of celebrating Christmas you celebrate Hanuka and if you are African American you celebrate Kwanzaa.
Hanuka:also known as the Festival of Lights, is an eight-day Jewish holiday commemorating the rededication of the Holy Temple in Jerusalem at the time of the Maccabean Revolt of the 2nd century BCE. Hanukkah is observed for eight nights, starting on the 25th day of Kislev according to the Hebrew calendar, which may occur at any time from late November to late December in the Gregorian calendar(from wikipedia)
Kwanzaa: weeklong celebration held in the United States honoring universal African heritage and culture, marked by participants lighting a kinara (candle holder).[1] It is observed from December 26 to January 1 each year.
Kwanzaa consists of seven days of celebration, featuring activities such as candle-lighting and libations, and culminating in a feast and gift giving.

You don't really see a bunch of Hanuka specials or Kwanzaa specials in movies but we do have those specials usually on TV shows.
Here's one of my old TV shows which shows Shia LaBeouf (He's the "hero" in the Transformer movies)
It called EVEN SEVENS and I hope you enjoy it and learn a bit about Hanuka :D
